So from what I gather around on the internet is that there is a monopoly of game server hosting for one company? Is that correct? I like hosting our own because I put it on a entire metal server so it runs smooth and don't overload it with plugins and mods so its laggy and slow, all of our servers run smooth and offer a great gaming experience (we have Rust and ArmA 2 & 3 servers atm). I hope this will change one day, can any devs comment on this or any official word?

Love the game so it would so nice to see this change. We've mentioned this quite a few times in the past. We have no plans to release server files. It's also not a 'Monopoloy' we have a partnership with one company and it's how we're able to provide official servers. The official servers and any rented servers are also smooth and not loaded down with any plugins or mods.Whats the reason for this? Just curious, not trying to bash you or anything. The freedom to host our own is really awesome, just can't think of why this is.

I mean yea it sucks to hop on a server that has horrible admins or full of problematic players, anyways good day to you all!
