It all started sometime in the last quarter of 2005 when Mr.T.K.Nathan and I discussed about guiding scholars for a Ph.D degree in Management Studies with Faculty of Management, Human Resource and Commerce, Sri Chandrasekherndra Saraswathi MahaVidyalaya (SCSMV) Kanchipuram. First Ph.D degree under my guidance was awarded by the university to Mr.R.Arunacahalm, General Manager, Redington for his work on ”Customisation of supply chain strategies for cost reduction and customer service with specific focus on Consumer Electronics and Information Technology – Hardware Industry in India” in September 2012.
